Products
With an annual production of 145 000 000 FBM (foot-board measure), construction lumber is CHALEUR SAWMILLS’ primary product. Our lumber meets market standards and is used in the construction of residential and commercial buildings and in the manufacturing of value-added products.
We operate a 10 foot sawmill in Belledune, N.B. with 2” x 4” and 2” x 6” up to 10 feet kiln dried lumber for the US and Canadian markets being our principal products. All this product is tarped with our Chaleur Sawmill wrap.
We also produce green rough lumber. These products are sold to industrial customers such as fencing manufacturers, pallet plants, bed frame producers and the packaging industry.
